It’s been another relatively quiet day on the estate.
When I got up this morning I had thought about contacting my broadband provider as I was still waiting for their letter so that I can contact the communications ombudsman.
After going out to the vet and paying the rest of the recent bill off, I went into town to have a coffee and contemplate the things I can sell to cover some of the costs.
When I got home and got some music practice in I’d forgotten about the internet problem. Late afternoon I received a call from the complaints manager I spoke to the last week. She said she had decided to waive all fees for the resolution! So my current contract has been cancelled without charge. I phoned the sales team and explained what the complaints manager had agreed to. I got through to a wonderful Scottish sales woman. She said that the 4g router had been restocked over the weekend. Last weeks sales guy had said that the 4g routers where unlikely to come into stock any time soon! Today’s sales advisor made sure my new contract was going to meet all my needs. She even made sure I got a deal on my mobile phone as it was tied to my original contract. I have a 14 day trial to make sure the 4g router has no problems. I’m hoping this is the end of a long saga. I will be £21 a month better off and the complaints manager credited my account with £80 for all the hassle. I’m pleased I stood my ground. it was worth standing up for my rights!
I’m going to put my feet up now and celebrate the win.
