I’ll take more days like today! It’s been pretty quiet all day. Pain levels are manageable with no new random pains today. Is this my nervous system settling down?

It’s been unusually quiet everywhere around me on the estate today. No screaming kids, very few barking dogs, long periods of silence. I like it! The lack of heatwave today and cooler air has brought a multitude of birds to the balcony all day. There’s been no sign of the sparrow hawk today. As much as I love seeing him, he mainly swoops to my balcony to attempt to catch a blue tit or great tit. So far I haven’t seen him catch one on my balcony, but when he dives in my heart skips a beat every time. A few days ago he came when the balcony was quiet and sat perched on the roof of my bird table. It’s amazing that I was only about 5 feet away from him.

I did get up to the router flashing orange this morning and no internet connection, but a quick reboot and I was back online. It is interesting that I haven’t had my guaranteed speed for the last two years, but since I’ve promised my provider that I am going through the communications ombudsman the situation has changed! Two days ago I began getting a more stable connection and my guaranteed speed. Yesterday I received a text from my provider to say the fault is now fixed…again! I am still currently getting the best speed I’ve ever had. A coincidence? I think not!

The sun has set now and the light is fading fast as I type. The only sound is the fan. I shall meditate for a while in this blissful silence. Soaking it up and storing it before a new week begins. A bookmark for my alters and I to return to when the noise becomes chaotic.
