A slow day. My mum would have been 86 years old today had she not died four years ago. I wonder if she reincarnated or was this her last journey to earth?
I didn’t roll out of bed until after 9am. I’ve had a slow day. A couple of household chores. Playing my instruments for as long as I can manage, and reading my new Pianist magazine.
I drift from one swirling pain to the next. My upper abdomen seems to be swelling more and there’s a new random pain on the left side. I’m a little suspicious that it’s due to the pressure used to push down the footrest on my recliner? I don’t know why I’m whining about it? It’s not like I’m going to seek medical intervention!
I’m already counting out the spoons for the week ahead. My choir buddy reached her new home in Ireland today and so I may take some stuff to her place tomorrow. Things like my midi keyboard, a ukulele and my drum practice pad. Alternatively I might just chill out on the balcony with my support worker after I’ve got him to do the hoovering.
I’m watching the light change outside my window as the sun sets on another day. I think I’ll have an early night. I hope the owl starts hooting soon to sing me to sleep.
