My skin condition is flaring quite severely at the moment. Only seven days left until my dermatology appointment and it can’t come quick enough.
I’m writing this from a candlelit bath. I had been attempting to play piano but couldn’t concentrate on my online lesson due to the burning sensation in my skin. I don’t understand why it gets so much worse at night. My alters start to get so upset when my skin rages this severely. An Epsom salt bath soothes the burning sensation a little and breathing deeply in the water helps to ease the tension in my body and sooth my alters.
I have prepared documents and photos for my upcoming appointment, so I’m all ready.
There was a cacophony of noise in my evicted neighbours flat this morning. Rather than annoying me it was oddly satisfying. The council clearance team had turned up to remove all the stuff he left behind. They piled everything onto a long flat bed lorry. They hammered units of the walls and noisily ripped up the flooring. With each bang all I could think of was he’s actually gone, this makes it real, he’s not returning to that property!
Once the clearance team left and my boiler service was completed at midday I was glad there was nothing else on the agenda for the rest of the day. I went and helped out at a pet rescue place with my volunteering buddy yesterday morning. As much as I love being with the cats I know it wasn’t the brightest idea as I had choir in the evening. At least I managed to have a sleep before choir.
We had six new people last night which was chaotic. I was the only helper and trying to sign new tasters into a frustrating website and manage the needs of all other choir members as they come in can be a bit of a challenge. It was a great session. Lots of energy and I love our new Bee Gees melody.
I’m grateful that I’ve no commitments until Monday now. Four days of resting, cuddling the cat and playing my instruments. Hopefully that will aid in reducing the tension in my body.
Phoenix.
